The Deskstar 7K250 incorporates proven technologies to boost the performance, capacity, and reliability to handle a wide range of advanced storage requirements. Hitachi's standardized features in desktop solutions enable fast transfer rates, low power use and quiet acoustics. These features combine to make the Deskstar 7K250 ideal not only for standard PC systems but also for ATA entry-servers, personal video recorders and other non-PC computing requirements. This internal drive offers a 250GB capacity, a data transfer rate up to 100MB/s, an 8MB data buffer, a 7,200rpm spindle speed and an average seek time of 8.5ms.
