I bought this cable to power a HP notebook that I purchased overseas. To my knowledge, all HP notebooks require a 3-slot cord to work with their AC adapters. This one was sturdy and thick and works well.

delivery was very fast. Shipping was twice the cost of the item. All in all it was still cheaper than the local store.
