So far so good - been a couple weeks of usage. Excellent option for desk as it fits 4 transformer type plugs along the sides, with regular size cords along the top. Bought on Amazon at reasonable price- good device for the money spent.

I run a small office. This is the best designed surge protector I've come across. All shapes and sizes of plugs can be accommodated side to side.

I have 6 other Belkins in my house, most of them being Belkin Components F9M923-08 9-Outlet Maximum SurgeMaster units, as well as several from other makers. I bought this particular model because of the compact shape, cute space-saving design, and overall positive experience with the Belkin brand. It is easily the most attractive powerstrip I own, and comes with a few very thoughtful design elements that my others don't have. It doesn't take up much space at all and sits flush against any wall, quietly out of the way. My other surge protectors and roundish and flat, making themselves very conspicuous and hard to hide. This Belkin manages to fit 8 plugs into a small form factor. My full-sized SurgeMasters fit 9. Spaced at 1.75 inches apart, the ports on the side offer enough room for even my biggest and ugliest AC adapters. Plugging the adapters in this way also acts as a weight, not that tipping over is a concern. The product has contoured "wings" for added stability. The LED status light is a pleasant green. The On/Off switch has a nice click sound to it, and a good solid feel. Overall construction and build quality is likewise excellent. The plastic housing is thick and durable looking, with a nice, neutral white color that'll fit into any office or home environment. If Belkin decides to make these in fun colors, I'd gladly buy another one.
