This PCI card has worked well for me in both an old, but significantly upgraded, Mac Beige G3 MT and in a Mac Mirrored Drive Door G4. It has been fully compatible with Mac OS 9.2.2 (USB functions as version 1.1 in OS 9), Mac OS 10.3.9, and Mac OS 10.4.8. There are "wake from sleep" issues with this card in Mac OS X. Mine occurred when I left an Epson Perfection 3590 Photo Scanner connected to the USB 2 port on the card. I found that by putting a USB 2 powered hub between the "always on" scanner and the USB 2 port on the card, my "wake from sleep" problems disappeared. There are counterfeit versions of this card on the market, so be sure you get exactly what the picture of the DLX180 shows (i.e., 3-USB2 ports and 2-Firewire ports; all external, no internal ports).
