I don't know what the fuss is about 7 vs 5, but this works great for me. Literally dropped my CPU temperature 10 degrees celsius and now the fans aren't trying to spin their way out of the case anymore. I recommend replacing the usual OEM thermal padding on most new computers and cpus with this.

droped the temp on my intel duo from 75c to 35c. (i think the heat sink was loose before i used this stuff)

This is formula 5 and the advertising on this product leads you to believe it is formula 7. Poor advertising for Amazon.com, 761345-77063-7 is the UPC number, not the type of compound. This is my first complaint on anything from Amozon.
