Pros & Cons :the brightness really isn't a problem when you are sitting at your desk, its when you are up and moving around in the room that its a problem.

Pros & Cons :as long as you have a whole in your desk where they will fit, it is a much more elegant solution then having a standalone hub sitting on the desk.
Great way to clean up your desk!

...USB works as expected. My (factory) desk cutout was exactly 3" but the Belkin unit was too big by about 1/8 inch. Had to break out the dremel and do some major sanding. read more

Pros & Cons :(i made the housing hole in my desk by tracing the circle peice, drilled small holes on the line, and popped the wood out with a flat head screw driver and a hammer) the lip of the peice covers the rough edges you created so it looks flush.
