Pros: the keyboard has a well thought out ergonomic design... too early to tell if does any good. configurable extra buttons on keyboard Cons:software corrupted all of my keyboard/mouse drivers. had to reinstall windows "ergonomic" mouse cause more discomfort than it alleviates poor wireless performance

This product is amazing! It has helped my wrists, hands, and fingers feel so much better!

Overall i would say this product is just ok.. i do like the mouse its very nice. The keyboard is comfortable but not as comfortable as my Belkin ergonomic that i just replaced. the 6 and 7 keys were both reachable from my right hand index finder on that keyboard this one spreads everything apart a bit more making it more awkward. the 6 is now a good reach for my left index finger and the 7 is the same for my right.. a few conviences that were added to the keyboard if i learn to use will be nice. As far as the wireless capability... this is basicly a wired keyboard that uses batteries. I havent had to change them yet but what i mean by that is i had to buy a USB extention cable just to get the keyboard and mouse to work properly they now are both about only 6 inches from the reciever and have line of sight. Its working smooth now and i do like how quiet the keyboard is. If i could do it over i would have bought a new belkin or some similar wired ergonomic and then picked up this mouse seperately.

This keyboard can be purchased in three different forms that I am aware of. Interlink offers it as just the keyboard or a combo package that includes the keyboard along with their RemotePoint RF presentation wireless mouse/pointer. You can also get this keyboard under the Adesso brand, whom I believe is the manufacturer since they seem to specialize in wireless keyboards whereas Interlink appears to be a company for presentation products (perhaps they make the pointer and package it with a rebranded Adesso). I purchased the Interlink combo and then returned it and purchased the Adesso instead. My evaluation of these products was under Windows Vista Ultimate Edition (32 bit). Adesso vs. Interlink versions.... First, the mouse. The Adesso uses an optical trackball, which is much easier to use. The Interlink has a thumb pad type of joystick which is okay to use and takes some getting used to. The thumb pad mouse seems like it may have been included to match the one on the pointer/mouse. The one on the Interlink pointer works very well, much better than the one on the Interlink keyboard. The index finger buttons on the front of the keyboard are a little different as well. On the interlink you get mouse buttons and on the Adesso, the right button is the left mouse click and the left is not a button but rather a scroll wheel. The wheel scrolls only, there is no push button function. Adesso has an extra row of buttons above the F keys rather than the logo and trim stickers found on the Interlink. You get an ID button, forward/back buttons, IE, email and My Computer buttons on the left side plus transport and volume buttons on the right side. The RF receivers I had were also different. The Adesso one is small, like a USB memory stick. The Interlink was a larger unit (it was round and about the diameter of a hockey puck and half as thick) with a USB cable hard wired to it and a little (~3") antenna. This may have been a special receiver since I purchased the combo package with the keyboard and air mouse / pointer. Range is great with both keyboards and neither requires drivers to be loaded. You only need to load software for the air mouse /pointer if you use that and even then you only need it if you want to reprogram the buttons to do specific actions. Finally there is the subject of the quantity of monetary units that are required to obtain one of these keyboards. Both keyboards are available here on Amazon with the free supersaver shipping. The Interlink will require twice as many monetary units to acquire it, however. Go to the "interlinkelectronics" web site or the "adesso" web site to see for yourself. The Adesso is model number: WKB 3000UB. Conclusion. For HTPS or couch potatoe, do not waste time with the Interlink. Go directly to Adesso.

I purchased this product to use from the comfort of my recliner. Both my Mac and PC use my HDTV as a gigantic monitor, a wireless keyboard with built-in mouse seemed ideal. The good: The Interlink keyboard is light, handy, and quite comfortable as a lap keyboard. Use with both the Mac and PC was trouble-free. The RF unit works as advertised without character loss at about 3 meters range, I've not attempted to use it beyond that distance. The keyboard is large enough to be comfortable but small enough to be handy. I've used the unit for writing, web browsing and gaming over the past several weeks. The bad: The mouse is really sad, considering what this thing costs. The pad works, but fingertip pressure sufficient to move the mouse is painful. Thumb pressure is required. The mouse movement is precise, but very slow. Pressing hard will make the mouse move faster, but this becomes tiring and uncomfortable over extended use, especially if web browsing or playing mouse-heavy games. The one feature I can't believe this unit lacks is a scroll wheel - even the poor mouse could be overlooked if one could scroll easily. Volume controls would also have been nice. Overall, I'm content with the purchase - it'll do - but I expected better handling on the built-in mouse.

I am writing from my Versapoint keyboard on my PS3. The keyboard was design for the living room or classroom. The keyboard is compact and sturdy. It is strong enough to sit on your lap or grip with two hands to the side. What I like is the very responsive keypad. The mouse in mouse pad is convenient but slow and lagging. There are trigger buttons in the front. If I waited a little then I would have gotten the Bluetooth rechargeable from Logitech. The RF range on this pad is good with no interference at all. The BTC 9019urf Wireless Multimedia USB Keyboard is half the price and has a bettter mousetick, but it works with the PC and has some issue with the PS3.

For the amount of money I paid, I believe the Taiwanese could have supplied a mouse that doesn't constantly get stuck. It's frustrating and annoying to rub the wheel back and forth until I finally manage to fit the cursor into the little square. Furthermore the receiver doesn't always receive. The range is not what they say, it is much less and it is not reliable, you can be typing away and it all gets lost no matter how precisely you point the lights.

Ok, when I saw this, i was thinking that it would solve my problem with a faulty mouse and a dead keyboard. oh god was i wrong. it uses IR signals, so you cant even type with your knees up! for $75 you would expect at least some RF. go away from this product, leave your money in some other companys claws.

I have been very happy with my keyboad. It works great in low light situations and even better in no light!

I really like this keyb. It is absolutely fancy, mmatch my PC coolors and add a soome style to my desk. Hoow dooes it works? Not that goood IMO. Great when gaming, but so far horrible typing a docuument. II come from a very standard keyb, one of those for 10 bucks att any store, and typing docs and email i never had typo issues. Noisy clicks, mayybe yes, not fanncyy look, ok.. for 10 bucks, but no typo mistakes whatsoever. The Reclusa, looks nice, has a soft keyb, not too noisy, but for me is a nightmare to type on. mayybe tooo sensitiive, but thhere is no way to really fix thhe problem. I already set evverything I could at low sensitivity. Ok I''ll show you what I mean: -- Starting now, I am typing withhout fix alll the typo errors gennerated by thhe kkeyboard. As you can see, it''s a nightmare. of course iit possibble it s mme, althou withh my old keybb iit never hhappened and at mmyy office i have no issues wiithh a bbasic DDELLL kkeybb. ---- So, now you have an idea. I am tryinng to get used to it. Writiing a documents takes ages now and I am not happy for this. It is possible I will send it back if i cannot improve my typing skills on it. I will give it a shot, and that s why I set 2 stars. otherwise it would be only 1 star. All the othher functionalities are absolutely OK and a snap to programm. Unfortunately, if u cannot use a keyb to type, in my mind it fails the reasoon why it exists.

I'm a computer science guy, and I'm very picky when it comes to accessories to my computer. Keyboards and mice have to feel just-so, monitors can't have the flicker I see on 75% of LCD screens, etc. I picked up one of these on a whim when CompUSA went out of business (at 70% off), and fell in love with it. Even though it bears the Microsoft logo (which generally means average quality), it bears the marks of the quality engineering of the Razer co-developers. Yes, as other people have said, the software for it is terrible, and by default, the eject button will eject your CD. But -- you can set the keyboard to control Winamp (or Windows Media Player) instead, and then the play/shuffle/eject/next/previous keys on the keyboard control your mp3 player *from inside a game*. If I'm playing a full-screen game and a song I want to skip comes on my playlist, I no longer have to alt-tab out and back in (which can take ages, or crash some games) -- I can control winamp directly from inside of the game. Including the volume, which is also awesome. I also disable the buttons which launch Firefox and Thunderbird when in full-screen mode, so as to avoid accidentally punching them (though after using the keyboard for a week, I no longer do so), and don't see any use for the copy/paste buttons or the left jog dial (which works just like a mouse scroll button). However, the ability to control Winamp from inside of a game + the LED backlighting (which is critical in low light situations) + the very well-tuned feel of the keys made me like the keyboard so much, I bought a second one for my second main computer. I highly recommend it.

I wanted to love this keyboard. Small footprint was great for a crowded desk, and I loved the style. It ended up being nothing but problems. The keyboard would frequently cut out, or one press of a key would result in 5-10 of the letters appearing on the screen. First I put foam on the battery door to keep the connections and that seemed to work for a while but eventually the problems kept coming back and out to the trash it went. I'm back to using USB keyboards and mice, but I think I'll try Logitech- I have had great success with their wireless mice on my laptops. As I said, it's too bad- the design of this keyboard is great.

This wireless keyboard and mouse fits the space that I occupy with my iMac. It is compact and has good tactile touch. Due to its compact design you could easily transport both it and the mouse in a backpack with a laptop. The underside of the mouse is where the USB receiver for both the keyboard and mouse is located. The receiver is plugged into any USB outlet. Docking the mouse onto the top of the keyboard will help preserve the two battery life which are included by Kensington. These devices are supported both for Mac & PC as both icons are displayed on keyboard. Additionally, there are hot keys which allow you to eject a CD, search your hard drive; ope up email; launch your internet browser and a media key. Additional hot keys are located on the right side of the keyboard and they include a go back to a previous item or song (iTunes); play/pause; next track and volume buttons, up and down. The hot "buttons" are very small for my semi-clunky hands, however with The mouse is designed for both left and right handed individuals. I am right handed. I leave my iMac on all of the time and I noted that when waking the computer you have to click on the mouse to activate the device. The keyboard spacing for the keys could be just a little wider which would make a few less key stroke errors which i made in typing. I would highly recommend this wireless keyboard and mouse for purchase by individuals looking for a compact wireless keyboard and mouse. The only drawback is that there is not an led or light which would indicate on the keyboard that the Caps Lock is set.

Good: Small, thin, semi-usefull picture frame concept, (got is for $ Bad: Line-of-site typically required, only functions well at less than 5-6 feet, the mouse seems to have less range than the keyboard. I have stopped using the mouse, I use my old wireless mouse with a better range.

After installing the drivers on Windows XP, I was surprised at the number of features available for the touchpad. It does everything described in the ad and flawlessly. I experienced non of the problems mentioned by other users. It arrived on time and worked flawlessly out of the box! Very happy with it.

I need a good keyboard touchpad, this inferior product jumps the cursor around opening and closing windows, someone suggested repairing the crimped USB wires inside, I repaired the wires but the problem still exists. It seems Adesso products are too flawed for consumer use. I will never purchase Adesso again and recommend buyers to beware of this company's inferior products. Adesso deserves 0 stars but I had to choose 1

I have used this model of keyboard for at least 1000 hours over the last 2-3 years. I have tried various other compact keyboards with integrated mouses, any I could get my hands on. I have not so far found any other model comparable to this one. I have no problems as far as general functionality with Linux or Windows. There does seem to be a design flaw that the way the cables are routed inside the keyboard, the cable gets pinched and eventually funky things will happen; I opened the back (just a few crosshead screws), fixed the pinched part of the cable and rerouted it, and did not have a problem after that. I have done this with two units of this model.
