AM SO GLAD I LOOKED TO THE RIGHT DURING MY EXTENSIVE RESEARCH & SAW CUSTOMER RECOMMENDATIONS. THEY HAD OVER 100 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE BELKIN. I ORDERED IT & IT WAS MORE THAN I EXPECTED. I ORDERED THE "PERFECT CONDITION" FROM SELLER SKU WHICH WAS CHEAPER. IT IS IN PERFECT CONDITION, BUT FOR A DISABLED PERSON WHO IS IN BED IT IS SUPERB. MY APPLE IBOOK DOES NOT SLIP, I CAN PROP IT UP ON THE SIDE TO WATCH MOVIES, DOES NOT SLIP, PLACE IT ON MY LAP AGAIN STAYS IN PLACE. THE SIZE IS SUPER..DOES NOT TAKE UP ANY ROOM IN THE BED OR ON YOUR LAP, THE SLANT IS PERFECT. I REALLY LIKE THE SLOT ON THE SIDE TO LOOP MY CONNECTION THRU AND ALSO PUT MY EAR PHONES IN. IT WILL ALSO HOLD A REMOTE CONTROL IN THE SAME SPACE. I WENT ONLINE AND INVESTIGATED 60 OR 70 LAPTOPS. I LUCKED INTO THIS ONE BY LOOKING AT "WHAT OTHER PEOPLE BOUGHT" ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE PAGE ON AMAZON, (WHICH I HAD NEVER DONE BEFORE) DURING MY RESEARCH. I WAS STRUCK BY THE SIZE, THE NON-SLIP SURFACE & CLEAN ABILITY (SORRY CAN'T DESCRIBE IT)THE COLOR MADE NO DIFFERENCE TO ME WHEN I SAW THE PICTURE. IT IS BROWN ON THE OUTSIDE AND LIGHT BLUE ON THE INSIDE. I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW FOR A PRODUCT, BUT THIS ONE SO EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS THAT I HAD TO WRITE ONE. THE SELLER NAME: GOOD FAITH STORE BELKIN F8N044-BRN CUSH TOP NOTEBOOK STAND (CHOCOLATE/BLUE) [CD] [ELECTRONICS] I RECEIVED IT WITHIN DAYS OF PLACING ORDER. THE SELLER IS EXCELLENT. MERCHANT SKU: GY-QSMZ-4PFR SELLER NAME: GOOD FAITH STORE THEY ADVERTISED IT AS USED-LIKE NEW, IT WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION, IF ANYONE HAD EVER USED IT IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL. THE SELLER IS VERY HONEST. I THOUGHT THERE WOULD BE SOME WEAR OR TEAR ON IT, NOTHING. IT WAS SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN ANYTHING I HAD BEEN LOOKING AT AND I WAS LOOKING AT STUFF THAT WAS $100.00 OR MORE.

I purchased one for my daughter for Christmas last year and found myself using it for my laptop, so I had to get my own! It is perfect to use on your lap while on a bed, couch or living room chair. I have a cooler with a fan but that can only be used on a hard surface. I use my cush top all of the time. Not only does it keep the computer cool but it also adds just the right height. I was nervous after reading some of the negative reviews on this product but still needed a laptop stand for when I'm working on the couch. I am happy to say that the product works incredibly well. It provides great support for your computer and is extremely comfortable to use. I have used the cooling pads with the fans and they do keep your laptop cooler but they are much bulkier and seem to be overkill in my opinion. I think one of the best features is the space in the middle of the cushion because you are able to put your laptop adapter in there. Overall a great product that I use everyday!
