Dell Port Expansion Module for Dell PowerEdge 2161DS Remote Console Switch (2R905)
The Port Expansion Module from Dell enhances the performance of your system. The Port Expansion Module (PEM) is a passive hub link that can be mounted next to the railing of the rack. It connects to one system port on a Console Switch and then to 8 servers. This device allows for up to 128 servers to be connected to a single 2161DS-2 or 4161DS switch. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems to ensure it will work with your computer. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
