Don't bother with this router, i have it running wireless at the moment, i'm 20 feet away from the router with just a corner of a wall in the way of direct sight from laptop (pc) to router and i have an amazing connection of poor!!!! spend your hard earned money on another brand of router.

This router does an amazing job, but I (like most everyone else) had trouble setting it up. Eventually, I decided to give up on the crappy no-name modem (Terasyn, in Thailand) that Time Warner cable gave me, and got one of these: D-Link DCM-202 DOCSIS 2.0 USB/Ethernet Cable Modem As far as I can tell, D-Link's products talk to each other really well, because as soon as I replaced the modem and gave Time Warner the MAC address, everything was working perfectly. I would urge anyone who's having trouble with this router to try replacing the modem. I can't comment on the wireless-N problem, since all of us in the apartment have G devices. But I can tell you that I get an excellent wireless signal from anywhere in the apartment, even with a lot of walls in the way at odd angles. With our old G router, I had a marginal signal if I wasn't in the same room as the router.

I bought this to replace a Belkin wireless router that only worked when it wanted to. This D-Link works all the time, not once in a while like the Belkin router did. Easy set up, great security and it stays connected, (unlike Belkin routers). I highly recommend this D-Link wireless router to anyone who wants to stay connected.
