I received my Powerlite S5 directly from Epson on Wednesday (today is Friday). I have used it about 5 times and I absolutely love it! Some people say that this projector washes out the colors a little bit, but I must say that I disagree somewhat. At 2000 lumens, I find it to be wonderfully bright. Now I haven't tested any dark movies (I'm talking "Lord of the Rings" dark, but I will gladly update my review as soon as I try those types of movies. I did, however, watch "Defiance" and boy! I was surely blown away.) That covers the video usage portion of this review. I had my projector setup in my living room temporarily because my Vantage Point CGUPM06-S Universal Front Projector Mount - Silver (purchased directly from Amazon.com) had not yet arrived. I received the mount just a few hours ago and have not yet been able to set it up yet, so I will update when I have it on the ceiling. Now, as far as computer use goes for this projector, I had the lights in my living room turned on (all of them) and I could still see the projected image very well. And, when I turned the projector off, you could easily notice the room get darker. Not much darker, but a noticeable amount darker. I also ordered a RiteAV - SVGA Monitor Cable - 25 Ft., but that has not yet come, either. I will write a review for each of those items as well. I also intend to put pictures of my setup under the customer images section, so be sure to look for those. Setup of this projector is very straight forward and it comes with very detailed directions in case you get confused. **UPDATE (August 9th, 2009): My projector is now up on the ceiling and it looks very nice up there. I had a little bit of trouble inverting the picture (in the Menu on the projector), but that was because I didn't do that first. My fault, no stars deducted.
