The monitor stand is relatively heavy and well built. Neoflex has some much higher-end stands available, but the price for such stands is nearly three fold higher. Pros: -Good stability -Relatively simple height adjustment -Fairly easy assembly and installation -Easy on the eyes appearance (definitely subjective) -Vastly better than the Dell stands included on consumer level monitors -Uses standardized VESA 100mm mounts (or 75mm) -Easily fits all my 24" monitors Cons: -Definitely a lower quality build than the higher end (and more expensive) Neoflex stands [ASIN: B001HIOB5Y] -Does require some assembly Overall a great replacement for the cheap stands so common with consumer level monitors.

I'm on a computer at work all day. When I come home it is so good to be able to vary the height and so easily. I wear bifocals and am able to keep the monitor low so I am looking out the bottom. For work I have prescription computer glasses (the prescription is the bottom part of my bifocals). If they come home with me, I simple raise the monitor to accommodate them. The stand was so easy to put together and is like a rock.

This is an excellent monitor stand. I now have two of them. They allow total freedom of movement, up, down, twist, tilt and everything in between. This is a great replacement for the poor excuse for stands that ship with most monitors.
