The Fujitsu XV10 series of desktop hard drives offers unparalleled value with leading areal densities of 7.8 Gb/in2 and fast data transfer rates up to 37.8 MB/sec. Designed to meet the needs of low-cost PC and entertainment device customers, these drives offer optimal performance and functionality without compromising quality. The Fujitsu XV10 family is designed to deliver optimum performance with the entertainment and business applications critical for set-top boxes, home entertainment servers, digital video recording and HDTV. They feature high-speed access to large files such as digital audio or video, movies, animation and Internet caching. Available in single-platter 10.2GB 5400RPM drives, and multi-platter 15.3GB and 20.4GB drives, the Fujitsu XV10 series includes all the state-of-the-art features you’d expect from a vertically integrated manufacturer. They offer an industry-leading desktop areal density of 7.8 Gb/in2, fast media transfer rates of up to 37.8 MB/sec, a 512KB buffer and average seek times of 9.5ms. What’s more, the XV10 family features a top cover design that reduces sound levels to as low as 3.4 bels, making the drives ideal for home-entertainment or PC applications.
