I cannot even begin to tell you the issues I had. No sound, problem with drivers on vista, installation of some device that I cannot get rid of. WinTV display crapped when tyring to record. WinTV panel did match documentation. #rd party software was much better. Inputs not labeled in any way....etc., etc.

This is a great product. I don't know what one of the other reviewers meant about having to cut or bend a piece to make it fit in the PC PCI slot. Mine fit almost perfectly (I have a slimline PC). The product comes with a CD to install the drives and two similar software programs to run it. The software are okay but I recommend downloading DScaler (it's free, just Google it). Oh, and buy an S-video cable for your video games or VCR or dish or whatever. The quality is amazing, even for my 1680x1050 resolution monitor. I would give it a 5 star but this is not a perfect product. The way this card displays synchronized video is incredible, even at 720x480 resolution (and doesn't lag either in full screen if you use DScaler), but when you record video, you have to record at half the height resolution or else you'll see bad odd or even lines (horizontal) recorded (even though they don't show on the preview). Perhaps this just needs an upgraded driver to record perfectly, but I couldn't find any at the Hauppage site. If anyone has a better driver for this, please email me at jskunou@hotmail.com. Thanks!

I bought this to use with Premiere Pro 2. The drivers were difficult to install and configure. Works well but cumbersome to install because the plate didn't fit in my compter. I had to bend the ear up and screw and extension to mount it in a regular PCI slot.
