This compact external FireWire hard drive has performed flawlessly as a backup device. I use it with Mac OS X Leopard's Time Machine application to make hourly backups of my files and it never skips a beat. I'm thrilled to have purchased it.

I've been using this hard drive for over 2 years with no problem. I travel for a living so it has been through a lot of abuse. It actually outlived 2 powerbooks that haven't been able to handle the wear and tear. It also survived 2 waist-height drops. The small size and light weight make it ideal for my lifestyle. The dual firewire ports make it convenient to daisy chain to my ipod. Definitely recommended!

I learned the hard way about the need for regular backups. I'm using this drive to back up my entire computer on a regular basis. It's big and fast and, so far, absolutely plug-and-play dependable.
