The popularity of netbooks has increased a lot over the past few years as people are now considering the benefits of using them. Netbooks are extremely portable and can do almost everything that a notebook can. Netbooks like the ones from HP come at a pretty good price as well.

The HP Mini 210 series was launched earlier this year and it didn’t disappoint. This netbook has some pretty impressive specifications and features. At the heart of this HP Mini netbook you have the Intel Atom processor which is more than capable of handling common tasks like web browsing or using MS Office. The Intel N455 single core processor is what comes with this netbook but you can opt for a dual core Atom N570 if you need a little more power. This netbook has a 10.1 inch display which is capable of supporting HD. Therefore it will be able to display 720p content and so you could watch your movies in high definition.

Apart from that these laptops come with a 250 GB hard drive and about 1 GB of DDR3 RAM which should suffice considering the applications you would use it for. The best feature with this netbook and in fact most netbooks over laptops would be the battery life. This little device will run for about 8 and half hours before you need to plug it in again. That is quite impressive even for a netbook. One disadvantage of this netbook would be the lack of an optical drive. But if you need one you could always get an external optical drive and connect it via USB. Lastly this system comes with Windows 7 Starter which is a surprise as most netbooks come with Windows XP. On the whole I would say this is quite an impressive netbook. If you are willing to sacrifice on an Intel Core processor, RAM of 8GB, 750GB HD and an optical drive then the HP Mini 210 series of netbooks is the one you should get!
