I've owned this unit for 2 years. I love it. One thing that surprised me when opening the case was 4 SATA connectors on the mother board. Of course, two of them are being used: one for the DVD drive and the other for the Hard Drive. That leaves two additional SATA connectors to use at your leisure. I was pleasantly surprised because I saw no mention of this in the spec. I'm not sure if every motherboard today has this(or not) but I decided to take advantage of those two extra connectors. I purchased two "2 Terabyte" SATA internal hard drives. I connected them both now I have combined 4.5 Terabytes(with 500gb drive came with the system). If you are wondering where I found the space within the case, this is where I found them: There is an extra bay that can be used for an additional DVD drive. I just shoved my extra internal hard drive into that slot. There is also an extra bay that is suppose to be used for HP Personal Media Drive Bay (external USB hard drive slot) but those HP P.M.D. devices are too expensive. So I used the bay to slide in my own second SATA internal "2 terabyte" hard drive. Now, I have a rocking system with 4.5 TERAbytes!!

I bought this computer because I needed a fast CPU with lots of memory and a large HDD. The TV tuner with remote works great. I already had a video card with DVI-I out so I could hook it up to my 1080p HDTV. I bought this unit refurbished and it looks and operates as new. Only thing was 3 screws were rumbling around inside. I opened the system up and noticed they came from the MB. I immediately put them back and since then I've been in love. I have Netflix and I stream from Netflix using this computer directly to my HDTV. Another hickup that if you're looking into buying this computer is that I you'll need a good video card that outputs to a HDTV if you want HDTV functionality. The HP media center remote w/ hub are great. You can even put the system to sleep using the remote. It also has a IR bug for controlling cable boxes. One note: If you have Comcast Digital Cable using a Motorola HD-DVR with model line DCT the remote will not operate it.

I am very happy with this computer. Had if for a few months and it has performed pretty well. I am not much of a gamer so I can't vouch for that aspect, but as an everyday computer used for internet, email, burning files and dvds, etc, it does everything well. Come with Vista and Windows Media Center which is pretty cool. Comes with tv tuner so I can watch and record shows with the windows DVR. Can also burn the recorded shows to DVD and play them back on my tv DVD player. Had a minor problem with set up and had to call the HP help line. Tough to understand the guy from India but we got through it and havn't had any problems since.
