I bought this 1GB memory card from the seller and when I recieved the product; I was pretty excited until I got it all installed. Don't be fooled by this seller!! THIS MEMORY CARD IS NOT 1GB, IT IS LESS THAN 1GB!!!!!!!!!!!! I installed it in 2 different laptops and both read the same thing, <1GB... No wonder is cheaper than the others!!! SO, IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD BUY FROM A DIFFERENT SELLER!!! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! They are selling a product that doesn't live up to what they advertise!! NEVER AGAIN!

I bought two 1GB chips from Kingston to replace my 256MB chip I have used for the last two years. After I received & installed them they worked perfect. Only difference was that all my computer operations were much faster. I use to wait up to 30 minutes for some applications to load and long boot up times. Now the longest I wait is at most a couple of minutes. I am very pleased by the vast improvement on performance. And they were so simple to install. I just followed the Kingston insert installation guide that came with the memory chips. I wish I had bought these along time ago.

I bought two 1GB chips from Kingston & after I received & installed them they worked for a couple of days after which the blue screen of MS Windows(HW failure) prevented the PC from even booting up so I had to remove one of the new chips & every thing went back to normal. I contacted Kingston & sent them the troublesome module & they were swift in sending back a replacement. I was very pleased with such a high level of customer service.Would recommend it to any memory seeker.
