Use Linksys WRE54G Wireless-G Range Expander to increase the effective coverage of your wireless network. Unlike traditional access point, it does not require any wired connection to your network. You just need to find the the range expander within range of your main access point or wireless router and the Linksys WRE54G Wireless-G Range Expander will transmit signals to remote wireless devices. This not only saves money but also helps to transmit signals into those hard-to-reach areas where wireless coverage is weak and cabling is impractical. The Linksys Wireless-G Range Expander can effectively cover large areas in multi-story homes, public spaces, warehouse environments, "Hot Spots" and outdoor venues where you need additional coverage for your wireless network. The range expander is compatible with the Linksys WAP54G access point, and WRT54G and WRT54GS wireless routers.
