Its 4-platter configuration means lower power consumption, better reliability, and higher data rates, while its Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) technology assures remarkably quiet operation. Additionally, this drive is compliant with the RoHS directive which eliminates hazardous substances in the manufacturing process. In the end, the MAX3073FC's accelerated performance allows greater flexibility for system designers making rack-optimized or tower servers, disk systems, RAID or digital video systems.
