I've done my fair of research and this is by far the best 1080p projector for the money. I've been using it with my blu-ray player and I highly recommend it. If you have any ambient light in the room and plan on watching it during the day get the "UB" version of this projector instead. It's a little bit more pricey but completely worth it. Even with a grey screen it was hard to watch this projector in my family room during the day without blacking out all the windows.

This projector worth every penny for the picture quality you get. It is not well known by public, maybe that is why it is such a bargain.

PURCHASE YOUR EPSON PRODUCT THROUGH AN AUTHORIZED DEALER OR FROM EPSON DIRECTLY. This is not a review of this product, but rather a word to the wise... Two and half months after my purchase of an Epson 10000XL scanner through Amazon, it stopped working. Through the followup and tech support process I learned that, because I purchased through Amazon, the manufacturer nor the seller would honor the 1 year warranty. Epson's position is that Amazon is not an authorized seller and that they merely act as broker for what can often be re-furbished or second hand merchandise. So, should your purchase break or malfunction, as mine did, you are out of luck with regard to warranty. This lesson cost me $2400.00

Good features, Easy to use, bright enough for a good picture from 20 feet away. One problem only: If the DVI cable is too long, or not connected firmly then a GOOD projector will have display problems or show no video at all. BUT the EP910 just locks up, and stops responding to ANY of the buttons (including the power switch!) Even completely removing the power cord, waiting an hour, and reconnecting the power cord, did not "unlock" the Projector. Tech support was clueless to solve this problem and suggested returning the product to AMAZON, and get a new one. So I did. But the new one behaved exactly the same.

I purchased this projector for use for small business presentations. I was very impressed with the resolution and brightness. I recently loaned it for a movie presentation at a small (120) seat theatre where the brightness and quality (projected to a 12' screen) was judged by all to be very good.

I recently owned a SONY Projector, that was great and cost me about $150 more for the same 2500 Lumens and supposed HD compatibility. As much as I liked the projector I never could get the HD to work. It didn't have a dedicated DVI input, like the Canon does. So besides some very minor features the SONY had, the Canon gave me the same thing as well as definite HD at a much lower price. You get what you pay for in life, and this product is DEFINITLY a value for the price.
