I bought the Optoma DV10 more than 2 years ago. I have watched several movies, linked my TV to the projector to watch shows on the screen and what an amazing device. This is one big reason why I am still happy with my 20" TV and did not feel the need to go for a larger LCD/Plasma TV. Quite convinient and quite easy to get started. I've even taken this to my friends place just like I would carry a laptop, and played it on their wall. I don't usually write reviews (more due to my laziness), but I love this product and am sad that the company stopped producing these. Not sure really why. I've had several folks who were keen to buy this after watching and it just is a pity they can't buy it.

I have had this projector for well over a year now. It is absolutely wonderful! I use it for movies occasionally, but it's primary function is to be dragged all over town for people to play Halo on. It may visit 3 or 4 different places on a weekend (360 over one shoulder, projector over the other!) and there has never been any problems. Works great, picture is awesome, sound is excellent - better if you plug in speakers but certainly workable without. My only problem is that without the remote you can't seem to access volume (and some other useful functions) outside of DVD mode, and this creates serious annoyances when using it with something like a game system (or trying to turn on captions in DVD mode, etc). The remote went missing during my last move and Optoma wants to charge $150+ and $18 in shipping (for sloooow ground shipping) to replace it. So I guess the projector gets 5 stars, and the company that made it gets....2.5

I was looking forward to purchasing and owning the product, but after I completed the transaction I was told it was not available. The only comment I received was "The product is no longer available." I have one question: why sell something if it's "not available"? I was very disappointed indeed!
