This PC Card adds two high-speed serial COM ports to a Handheld PC or notebook for attaching external modems, bar code scanners, mag stripe readers, GPS receivers, digital cameras or other RS-232 serial devices. Based on 16550 compatible UARTs, each serial port operates independently. This Battery Friendly card also draws little power, conserving the battery life of your Handheld PC or notebook. It includes Windows applet that shows COM port assignments.
