I was thoroughly impressed by the quickness and clearness of print. The printer can be lugged anywhere to use. The printer cartridges are used quickly, so make sure buy double the printer cartridges when printing a lot.

This printer is very easy to set up , easy to carry with the box it comes in , and prints clearly. The only negative thing (if you can call it that is) it uses the black cartridges fast when you print lots of black & white documents only. I just wish the black ink cartridges were bigger (lol).

The ip90v, my laptop, and both power supplies fit nicely in a laptop case. I used it as my carry-on luggage to South Africa. The printer exceeded my expectation in speed, ease of use and portability. Dual voltage made it more convenient to use with 240 volts in Africa.

Quick, EZ, simple. Printers are my traditional Nemesis. This one is a joy to have. The "User Friendly" programs are superior.

I've had two Epson printers, and never again! They were slow as molasses to print plain documents, they jammed frequently, they used a lot of ink, and worst, the printer would very often fail for no reason, requiring a rebooting of the computer and a lot of frustration over wasted time. I've had friends report the exact same problems. Anyway, I just received the Canon Pixma MP 470. I am rating it 4 stars only because I've only had it for 24 hours, but so far, I am in love. It was amazingly easy to install, and I am not good with hardware. You do need to connect it with a usb printer cord as suggested as an additional purchase when you order the device. Ink installation was also very easy. The documents print FAST, and both color and b/w are crisp. Scanned documents came out fine. I did not buy this primarily for photo printing, but for document printing at home, and I needed a low profile compact machine because it fits into a niche in my desk. So far, so good!!

It's exactly what is needed for the small office as long as you don't need a fax. Canon always = quality. Small space required even for paper in and prints out, super looking, easy to install and Canon does not want to control your whole PC like HP insists on in order to function. The Canon just works smoothly and VERY quietly. HP insists on loading all kinds of interactive software that slows down a computer system. HP spreads icons everywhere and is just annoying. I'm normally a very calm professional person but, I threw my HP all-in-one across the garage floor after being tortured by issues and support for two years. Glad it's gone! The down sides of the Canon .... Pay attention to the paper in and out trays for your own preferrences. The HP's high quality photo's seem slightly more detailed than the Canon although I'm not sure why. The Canon basic software for printing set up choice is not as detailed as HP (but it also does not demand control of your whole computer) and it's a little confusing which paper setting to use with other than Canon brand high quality photo papers .... BUT, It is EXACTLY what I needed for my home office.

I am in love with my new Pixma MP210 after using it intensively for 3 weeks to prepare for college graduate course teaching. I agree with everything positive that has been said in previous reviews plus these points that did not show up in previous reviews: OCR function- can scan text into a word document so I can cut, paste, and edit the text. Comes with a preview and correct text software function that lets you easily clean up the scrambled text. One thing I miss: when scanning you cannot reduce the page to get wider margins. You can do that with the copy function and then scan your copies, but not directly in scan (e.g. 90% scan). File name only allows 20 characters which is too short for me to name book chapters that I've scanned. But you can correct that once you save it as a word file on your desktop. It sits nicely on my desk next to my keyboard and monitor. Nice to have printing, copying, and scanning so easily next to me. Paper feeder works, but paper supply sits a little crooked. Paper does not come flying out at you which is another plus over my old printer. The buttons are not as bad as the other reviews said. The manual leaves a little to be desired: It was a little difficult to figure out how to do the OCR function--for example, it didn't tell me to "choose" my scanner so the software would be connected to the Canon PIXMA. It comes with two softwares--one for scanning and one for OCR. So maybe some people will think this is clunky to have to move between two softwares. But both work great! Faster than my 2 year old Epson stand alone scanner and the cover is more manageable than the Epson's (which just fell down on me all the time!) Okay, so it doesn't feed, collate, and staple--but for that I go to my office. Canon Pixma MP210 Photo All-In-One Inkjet Printer (2175B002)

Don't get me wrong, it works fine and the quality is "good" but the MAJOR problem with this product is that the ink runs dry almost immediately - I am forever running to Staples or Office Depot and spending 30 bucks for a b/w and a color cartridge. The b/w will print MAYBE 2 scripts and the color? Horrible. After printing 6 8x10 photo's (yes, I understand this printer isn't for photo's, but when you need a presentation...) the color is gone. That equates to about 3 bucks a page!!! Pay the money and get a printer where the ink will last.

Grreat printer for the price. Have tried all features and they work well. Only drawback would be the amount of ink involved.
