The 2848 Gigabit Fully Managed Switch presents a cost-effective solution for medium and large businesses. This switch includes 44 10/100/1000BaseT copper Gigabit ports and 4 combo SFP (Ethernet/Mini GBIC) ports for flexible fiber Gigabit connectivity. This switch supports basic IP routing as well as VLAN tagging for up to 256 VLANs simultaneously. Ports can also be trunked for larger virtual bandwidth.The 2824 comes with ProCurve Manager, a dynamic network management package with fast access to real-time information from an intuitive interface, and automated tools that take action when problems arise.
