This reader never worked in any computer I tried to use (both Windows and Mac). When I heard about the Kingston Mobilelite reader, I was impressed by its design and took another chance... and am glad I did. Go see my review of it! Don't bother with the Lexar... a piece of junk!

Won't read SDHC MicroSD cards inside their SD adapters from Transcend, SanDisk or Kingston. Yeah, I have all the latest service packs for XP and Vista and those MicroSD HC cards read fine in every other USB reader except this one. Lexar tech support is a cluster of morons, you'd have better luck getting answers from a housecat on a dairy farm. They'll dismiss tech support inquiries with statements such as "we only guarantee compatibility with Lexar memory devices..." THEN THEY SHOULD SAY SO ON THE PACKAGE !!! Don't plan on RELIABLY using most cards larger than 2GB in this p.o.s

This product is just what it says. I've only used it with SD cards (both full size and micro) but it reads them quite well and is relatively fast. I would recommend it for anyone who moves between several computers.
