As a project manager, I often attend back-to-back project meetings. Prior to getting this battery, I had to bring along a power cord to make sure I wouldn't run out of power halfway through meeting two. Since getting the battery, I have plenty of juice to get through meetings and be able to run in wireless mode for hours at home. The only drawaback is that the battery pretty much doubles the weight of the laptop. Plus, being externally mounted, it makes my laptop less svelte. But the angled footprint -- the keyboard tilts 10 degreees or so toward my hands -- actually helps my typing. And the whole schmeer -- laptop plus battery -- slides easily into my docking station for a charge when I get back to my workstation. Easy to use, easy to recharge, and an all-around joy.

Shipping and price were Amazon fast and friendly. No surprises. The battery works great but adds more weight to an already heavy laptop. No complaints.

I love this battery. It doesn't weigh too much, it works with the docking station and it adds 2-3 hours to my battery life. If you want to remove the electric cord tether, get this battery.
