It is unreal how expensive ethernet cable is in retail stores. This is quality CAT6 cable (though can we really see much difference in cat5 and cat5e as home users?) and even comes in a retail package. Excellent product, no problems, works just as it should with no loss of data signal stretched about 30+ feet.

I put one of my computers next to my drumset so as to have the internet drum lessons as well as lessons on my main pc in the pc room avaiable right at the drumset. At first I was just going to put in a lan card, at a cost of $39 until I did a google search and found this ethernet cable at Amazon. I needed about 45' and the 50' version was just right. I ran it from my pc room to the basement and up to the room with the drums. Total cost of the 50' ethernet cable was $11.82 including tax and shipping right to my door. The cable works fantastic with no gHz loss for that long of run. I would not hestate to even go to a longer run from this company and at such an extremely low price, you can't go wrong. I forgot to say the reason I wanted a lan card is because I have a router which I now only use hardline on it. Now, I'm able to use the shareing capablity with my main pc and the pc next to the drums. It is so convient.
