Like usual Susteen fails to deliver. I'd give this one a zero if I could. This version is full of bugs, and due to the well know "administrator account required" issue (even though you install the software as "administrator" launching the software logged in as administrator" the software gives you the error saying "administrator account required to use the application". Susteen knows about the problem and has several "fixes" registry hacks in their Kbase but none fix the problem. No response from their toll call support number. Steer clear of this junkware.

I purchased and installed this product for the LG 8300 phone. The software installed okay but would not connect with the phone. The error message stated that additional drivers were needed. The Microsoft search was unable to locate the needed drivers. I searched on my own, also without success. I emailed Susteen (both Customer Service and Tech Support) over a week ago for assistance and have received no replies. I am not able to use this product with my LG phone.

First, the installer always tries to install its own USB phone driver. If you already have a driver (for example the OEM driver), this new driver is unnecessary. But there is no option to not install it. If drivers are already installed, this part of the installation crashes, but leaves the rest of the product installed. The updater also crashes when it hits this part, but seems to update the rest of the product. Not a good first impression. I've used this with my LG vx5500, which it says it supports. It does not actually synchronize data, but simply overwrites. It reads from Outlook and writes to the phone, replacing anything already in the phone. This is both for contacts and calendar events. For contacts, it always writes to the phone as FIRST, LAST. There is no option to order by FILE AS or any other field. For calendar events, it can't read tasks or notes from Outlook, only events. It only shows the event subject in the phone; the location and body text are ignored. There are no options to configure this behavior. Overall, this product does work, but the above limitations seriously limit its usefulness. For a product that has been out for years, it seems more half-baked than I expected.
