first off the cooler was $6.90 shipping was $7. shipping should not be more then the product. second the thing didn't fit in my case. it hit my video card, and its not even a big card just standard size. the clips are not strong enough to support it once the case is up right, hence it hitting my video card. you'd be better off glueing a fan to your memory then buying this thing. but the light look cool. the shipping was not slow, but it wasn't fast 5 days after 3 day Processing.

For it's price, it is perfect (tho I bought it for ($9.38 and now it's for $14.48!!) For the $9 it is good, the plastic is not very hard, gives you the feeling that if you applied too much pressure the cooler will end up one peice in each hand, but it didn't. The air flow is not the best, but it's not bad too. The fan is big enough to completely cover 2 memory modules, and will help cooling one more at each side. If the fans blew more air, probably one cooler from this would have been enough for the entire memory bank. It looks great too, and along with the blue LED just completes the design. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the air flow is not the best, plus the plastic is not of a hard quality.

This is one weird looking fan... If you are just looking for a RAM fan, look further. There are at least two better options out there (one by OCZ and the other by Corsair). If you are looking for a RAM fan to match your Cyclo PCI slot fans, then this is your only option. This fan is color and style matched to the Cyclo PCI fans, which are the best PCI slot coolers for a single slot I can find. The 'Cyclo' look is quite unique, with a clear plastic grill whose venting greatly resembles the look of modern vented bicycling helmets. This works quite well for the PCI fans, but the RAM fan has two little spring loaded prongs on either end that give it a bit of a crabbish look. The dimensions of this 'crab' fit well into almost any DIMM slots, since the tapered ends provide less obstacle to tight environments (such as a large heatsink on the northbridge, etc). This, is perhaps its biggest advantage. The unit delives 11 cfm, which is hardly a whisper. It might be enough to do the job on your ram providing it has enough passive cooling elements in place, like heat sinks and spreaders. It directs this little bit of air without generating much noise, which is at least some consolation. Combined with good case airflow, and good heat sinks on your RAM, it just might work. Overall, this fan will do the job, if it meets your needs. If not, look elsewhere. Not unrecommended.
